Riding on Earth Day, Nestlé Hong Kong launched thematic campaigns two years in a row in April to help reduce the carbon emission in the community, namely “Nestlé for Green Future – Love for Carbon Reduction” and “Nestlé for Green Future – Continuous Love for Carbon Reduction”. During the campaign period, for each transaction in Nestlé Hong Kong eShop, Nestlé Hong Kong donated HK$20 to the non-profit-making green organization “CarbonCare InnoLab” to support its EnergyCare Programme. The Programme aimed to replace energy-saving appliances for underprivilege community, helping them to save energy and reduce their carbon footprint in daily life!
While this campaign enabled customers to enjoy Good food from Nestlé, it also supported the community in need to lead a low-carbon Good life and contributed to the sustainable development at the same time.
The campaign has supported around 70 families to replace about 225 LED light bulbs in the 2 years, enabling them to reduce around 80% carbon emission.
