2017 - Sharing Nutrition Frozen Food Donation Pilot Programme

Creating Shared Value is an integral part of the business development at Nestlé. While developing business, Nestlé Hong Kong has collaborated with different partners and responded to the different needs in society.

Nestlé Hong Kong has participated in the FOOD-CO “Sharing Nutrition” pilot programme in the second half of 2017. We donated frozen food with shorter shelf life to the people in need, from which we could achieve the double purposes of letting under-privilege families to enjoy nutritious food while reducing food waste. The pilot program has been launched for half a year and more than 2,000 products were donated from us and over 400 people were benefited.

We expect to expand the relevant programme and offer help to more people who are in need in society.
