Let us review Nestlé Hong Kong's corporate social responsibility initiatives for 2024.

• Supporting the Nutritional Needs of Society
• Throughout the year, Nestlé Hong Kong donated nearly 70,000 items, including yogurt, breakfast cereals, milk powder, culinary products, and pet food, to charitable organizations such as Feeding Hong Kong, Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor, Food Angel, and Hong Kong Dog Rescue. This initiative aims to care for the community and support their nutritional needs while helping those in need and reducing waste. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, we also presented new product ice cream mooncakes to the St. James’ Settlement FOOD-CO, the People Service Centre, and the Hong Chi Association to celebrate the festival together.

• Engaging in Volunteer Work to Serve the Community
• The Nestlé Hong Kong volunteer team has been committed to providing various support to our community. In 2024, we organized different types of volunteer activities to give back to society. In response to Earth Day on April 22, a group of Nestlé Hong Kong colleagues and their families braved the weather to join the Environmental Association for a cleanup activity at the coastal area of Sam Mun Tsai in Tai Po, actively practicing environmental protection. On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Nestlé volunteer team invited 20 grassroots families from the North Point Happy Teens Club to participate in a mooncake baking workshop to celebrate the festival in advance. As winter approached, the Nestlé volunteer team participated in a meal distribution activity organized by the local charity Pei Ho Counterparts, providing free meal boxes and goodie bags to the homeless in the Sham Shui Po district.

• Actively Promoting Sustainable Development
• To reduce waste and support reuse while cherishing environmental resources, Nestlé Hong Kong collaborated with the Po Leung Kuk Yue Yiu Sun Memorial Workshop to organize an eco-recycling activity before the Lunar New Year. We collected some relatively new but seldom-used items from colleagues to resell at affordable prices to community members, practicing resource regeneration. At the same time, we donated a batch of computer supplies to Caritas Computer Workshop, mainly consisting of refurbished equipment that can still be used to help those in need within the community. Additionally, to deepen employees and their families' understanding of the importance of the natural environment and sustainable development, we organized an eco guided tour of the Mai Po Nature Reserve, allowing them to personally experience and learn about wetland ecology.
