2021 – Nestlé Hong Kong Volunteer Activities in 2021

Nestlé Hong Kong Volunteer Taskforce has been committed to providing different support to our community. In 2021, we have organized several volunteer activities, including:

With our commitment to support sustainability and in line with our Net Zero Roadmap, our Nestlé Hong Kong Volunteer Taskforce is proud to have our first physical large-group volunteer activity in two years’ time to be tree planting back in mid-June! We have 33 volunteers who helped to plant a total of around 70 trees in Sai Kung.
Separately, Nestlé Hong Kong colleagues volunteered to participate in an activity in mid-September, in collaboration with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals again this year for a physical festive activity, arranging 40 P1-P6 students to attend our “Nestlé Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration” and made some nice lanterns together during the event. All participants took a bag of goodie bag back home with them after the event for them to enjoy during the festival with their family, to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in a more special yet meaningful way.
Winter Solstice Activity
In December, to celebrate the Winter Solstice, 18 colleagues from Nestlé Hong Kong attended a half-day program at Food Angel where colleagues helped to prepare cook-chill meal boxes for the underprivileged community and understand ways of reducing the amount of food wastage. To add extra meaning to this activity, Nestlé Professional has donated some HARVEST GOURMET® products to Food Angel for preparing the meal boxes, hoping to share our tasty plant-based products with everyone in the society and to spread our care and happiness during the festive season.
