350% Increase in Recycling Volume
Launched in collaboration with Carbon Wallet, a local one-stop green lifestyle reward platform, the “Yoghurt Container Recycling Reward Scheme” has seen tremendous success since its inception in November last year, with an increase of 350% for the average monthly recycling quantity of yoghurt product packaging. *
The program will be extended through December 31, 2025, along with exciting upgrades to the rewards:
- Interactive Recycling Game: Launching in July, this new game allows participants to complete recycling tasks for a chance to enter a lucky draw and win attractive prizes, including supermarket and online shopping coupons. The more you recycle, the higher your chances of winning.
- Instant Rewards: Every time a consumer recycles a yogurt cup or yoghurt drink bottle, they earn Carbon Wallet (CW) points and instant coupon rewards.
- Widespread Accessibility: Consumers can bring their cleaned yogurt cups to over 9,000 designated recycling points across Hong Kong. By scanning the barcode using the Carbon Wallet app, participants can earn coupons for Nestlé ActiV and Nestlé Dairy Farm products.
- Green Incentives: CW points can be redeemed for various eco-friendly rewards, such as free MTR rides, eco-tours, sustainable beauty products, and household items.
- Sustainable Living: By recycling plastic packaging, consumers not only help reduce landfill waste but also enjoy practical benefits—living green while earning rewards.
