[Hong Kong, September 2, 2024] Fully committed to sharing the global flavours with originality and sincerity, Nestlé Hong Kong has unveiled the DREYER’S® D-COLLECTION™ ice cream mooncakes in gift boxes for the first time. The product has seamlessly combined the delicious taste of classic ice cream with the traditional Mid-Autumn mooncakes. The Jade Rabbit-shape ice cream mooncake promises to bring a novel palate experience. Inspired by traditional Chinese lanterns, the design of the gift box, incorporates green concepts and can be transformed into a chic jewelry box for re-use to extend the festive vibe.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is of reunion and joy, when relatives and friends present mooncakes as blessings to one another. To make this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival even warmer and more meaningful, Nestlé Hong Kong announced today that it has taken the lead in distributing 1,500 boxes of DREYER’S® D-COLLECTION™ ice cream mooncake gift boxes to grassroots families and those in need under its corporate mission of “Good food, Good life”. The beneficiary organizations include St. James’ Settlement FOOD-CO, Hong Chi Association and People Service Centre. The initiative aims to share the joy with the community ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and to passing on the love and care to them. The above-mentioned organizations and platform have expressed their gratitude for giving their beneficiaries and trainees an early taste of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
